Meet Ryan Kuhn
Hi, I’m Ryan. I have been practicing family law since I was admitted to the bar in 2005.
My goal is always to minimize the unnecessary emotional and financial stress that comes with legal matters. I work to bring stability and predictability to my clients during a time when, let’s face it, they really don’t want to have an attorney in their life.
I want to help clients successfully move on to a happier and more peaceful life.
While I have significant litigation experience, including successful outcomes in the Courts of Appeals of Ohio and in the Supreme Court of Ohio, more often, our clients’ needs are better served outside of litigation by finding more cost-effective and flexible resolutions. I help clients negotiate and reduce potential conflict whenever possible.
Sometimes litigation can’t be avoided. When the need arises, I manage high conflict situations to resolve issues like complex property and retirement divisions, parenting plans, child support, spousal support, and child custody issues. I also routinely work with financial and mental health professionals who provide expert evidence and assist clients with various financial and parenting related issues.
Along with life’s unexpected challenges, I can also help you plan for happier life events, like growing your family through adoption or through marriage. While you may not think so, both happy events can require some planning to protect your rights.
When I’m not working, I love exercising, hiking, reading, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with my incredibly brilliant wife and my two funny, fierce daughters. I balance being a husband, father, and attorney, so I can genuinely relate to my clients and the everyday issues they face.
